Yacht under way along the coast toward Monaco, azure sea

Yacht charter — Saint-Tropez to Monaco

The grand passage east — around 60 nautical miles to Monaco and Port Hercule, timed for the Monaco Yacht Show season and the Principality’s legendary harbour.

A yacht charter Saint-Tropez to Monaco runs around 60 nautical miles; luxury yacht charter Monaco, monaco superyacht charter and monaco yacht rental all belong to this eastern run. Arriving at Port Hercule you pass the Yacht Club de Monaco on the quay — the yacht club Monaco visitors come to see — beside the harbour of the Monaco Yacht Show.

The route

The coast, bay by bay

From the Gulf to the Principality, the eastern Riviera unfolds slowly — red cliffs at the Esterel, the pines of the Lérins, the Cap d'Antibes, and finally the harbour at Monaco.

We can run it as one long day with the wind behind us, or draw it out over a cruise with nights at anchor. The stops are yours to choose; we hold the helm and the timing.

What the route takes in

The coast gives its highlights in order; we time each so the light is right.

The Esterel

Red porphyry cliffs falling straight into clear water — the first dramatic coast east of the Gulf.

Îles de Lérins

A sheltered lunch at anchor off Sainte-Marguerite, pines to the waterline, Cannes across the bay.

Cap d’Antibes

The green headland and its quiet coves — a last long swim before the run east.

Villefranche & Cap Ferrat

The deepest bay on the coast, then the Rock and Port Hercule an hour beyond.

Good to know

The day, plainly

Yes, in good conditions — it is a long, full day under way with brief stops. Many prefer to spread it over a short cruise with a night at anchor; we advise on what suits your party.

A berth in Monaco can be arranged subject to availability and quoted with the charter. Otherwise we anchor nearby and tender in, or turn back along the coast.

Of course. Antibes, Cannes, Villefranche or a longer swim at the Lérins — the route is a suggestion. Tell us what you'd like to see and we shape it around the sea.

On quote. Distance, yacht, season and any berthing all factor in, so we price each itinerary individually — clearly and in full before you confirm.
